Really enjoyed my visit here. Easily the best Jamaican restaurant I’ve ever been to. Was looking for a spot for authentic food after work and came across Smithy’s. Had a curry goat and rice and peas which was served with salad, coleslaw and rolls. Food was hot and the flavours were incredible. Can tell these guys are passionate. Meat fell off the bone. So good. Service was great. Waited less than 5 minutes for a piping hot meal and spoke to the owner about local business. Will be returning.

This place is a proper little hidden gem! Food could not be faulted! Super tasty and full of flavour! Super good value for money, especially on portion size! Would highly recommend! Service was quick and staff super friendly!

Me & my fiance ordered the: jerk chicken (in the photo), curry goat, a few patties (chicken, goat & lamb) with a side of plantain, for takeaway. The interior of the restaurant was clean and looks very new. The chef (who was also manning the tills) was very pleasant and asked whether or not we wanted a bit more sauce on our rice, and asked if we wanted it a bit more spicy than normal- I thought that was an excellent option to cater to more people. The food was fresh, extremely well-seasoned and our order was ready in less than 15 mins, though it was not busy when I went. The portion sizes were also really decent, and the curry & jerk came with a side salad. Overall, well worth the money and we’ll be regular customers from now on! 👌🏻

Most of the dishes are absolutely finger-licking delicious. From perfectly seasoned jerk chicken and flavorful vegetarian options, everything is cooked with such skill and authenticity. Each bite bursts with rich, bold flavors that instantly transport you to the Caribbean. Overall, this place is a wonderful blend of delicious food, great entertainment, and outstanding hospitality. I went to smithybrowns restaurant 1st visit with my sister lovely customer service from the young man. I must say the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered oxtail and the meat came off the bone it was flavoursome, seasoned well and the best I've had in a longtime. We ordered a portion to take home.lol. definitely come her again.😋 Thankyou

Went here today with a friend honestly can't recommend it enough!! The staff are inviting and friendly you feel very looked after and can even have a little joke around. The good is AMAZING and I don't say that lightly this is the proper experience with amazing taste and the portions are very generous. There is a good menu range and pricing was very fair. Would highly recommend if you are looking for great tasting Jamaican food !
